She also carries a deep understanding of movement and the body from ten years of teaching yoga and a lifetime of personal practice. For whom is the course suitable?

The Kinesiology Foundation Course is open to everyone. It is designed to introduce you to kinesiology whether you have experience in health care or none at all. We begin together from the very first steps, so your background does not matter.

This course is ideal if you are considering a future career in kinesiology, and it is equally valuable if you want to use these skills for your own wellbeing or to support friends, family or existing clients.

The classes offer safe and effective techniques that you can start using right away, without needing months or years of additional training. If you already work in another area of health care, the Foundation Certificate allows you to add kinesiology to your current skills, gain insurance and offer sessions professionally.

If you do not currently practise another therapy and wish to become a fully qualified Kinesiologist, your next step after the Foundation Course is the Practitioner Course. If this path interests you, please let Anna know. Once you have completed the Practitioner Course training, you can become insured and offer treatments to the public.

The total cost of the Kinesiology Foundation course is 1,490euros

You are able to pay the full 1,490euros upfront or, alternatively, you can pay –

• A 500euro deposit to secure your place.

• Then six payments each weekend that we learn of 165euros.

Booking deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable; once enrolled we cannot return the booking deposit for any reason other than cancellation of the course by myself.

Format of the course

What happens in class?

Each class blends explanation, demonstration, and hands-on practice. From day one, you will be learning to muscle test as a form of communication with the body. You will receive a full-color illustrated TASK Kinesiology Foundation Course Manual, which shows the essentials of muscle testing and many simple techniques that you will explore and bring to life throughout the course. This manual is not just something you use during training, it becomes a long term reference and support for your future practice.

Do I need to practice on people?

You will be encouraged to practise as you go, and to write up what you learn in twelve case studies. These will form part of the requirements for receiving your Certificate. Your case studies can be twelve different people or twelve sessions with the same person. Even students who join the course for personal growth find this practice deeply helpful and eye opening.

How do I get my certificate?

The Foundation Certificate is awarded once you have completed the twelve case studies and attended the full course. This Certificate allows you to continue your journey by applying for the TASK Practitioner Course. If this interests you, Anna will be happy to guide you.

Can I then call myself a Kinesiologist and charge for treatments?

If you are already trained in another health related practice and have insurance for it, such as Reiki, the Foundation Certificate allows you to become insured for the kinesiology techniques you learn and to offer paid sessions.

If you are not currently qualified in another modality, you are welcome to use the skills you gain with friends, family and even pets. To work professionally with the public and charge for your treatments, you will need to complete the TASK Practitioner Course so that you can be fully insured as a Kinesiologist.
